Bursting the bubble or building up?
Trends in the Melbourne residential property market

The BFSLA is pleased to invite you to attend a panel discussion on the Melbourne residential property market with panellists from Westpac and ANZ.

At the session, our panel comprising Chris Moyle (Director & Head of Real Estate – Victoria, Westpac Institutional Bank), Daniel Gradwell (Associate Director Property, ANZ Commercial) and Catherine Birch (Senior Economist, ANZ Institutional) will analyse the current Melbourne property market, discussing the relevance of factors such as the Royal Commission, regulatory and government policy and economic conditions. The panellists will compare the current market to the property downturn of the early 1990s, consider the implications of the market for purchasers, developers and financiers and provide their views on what the future holds for the Melbourne residential property market.
