BFSLA and Norton Rose Fulbright are pleased to invite you to hear from the following presenters on the topic “The PPSA caselaw, seven years since commencement”:

Nicholas Mirzai is a Barrister at Level 22 Chambers, Sydney and co-author of The Annotated Personal Property Securities Act (published by Wolters Kluwer) and the PPS in Practice (published by Thomsonreuters). He is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney in Commercial Law and Finance Law. Nicholas advises and appears in matters in courts across Australia primarily in commercial, corporate, insolvency and equity disputes.

Christopher Athanassios is a Principal at Miller & Prince Lawyers and co-author of the PPS in Practice. Christopher has a litigious and transactional practice predominantly in the areas of corporate, banking and finance and corporate insolvency. He is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney in Finance Law.

The seminar will be chaired by Jason Harris, Chair of the BFSLA academic executive committee and Professor of Corporate Law at Sydney Law School. The BFSLA academic committee thanks Norton Rose Fulbright for hosting this seminar.
